The Vietnam Statistical Yearbook 2022 (Japanese Edition), translated by Dr. Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy (Ph.D. in Economics, Associate Professor at Chiba University of Commerce and Chair of the Asia Future Association), was published in February 2025.(two-volume set, 1,271 pages)
This book is a Japanese edition of Vietnam Statistical Yearbook 2022 published annually by the General Statistics Office of Vietnam.
This translation project was carried out with great care and dedication. With the addition of new statistical tables and explanations of terms and methodologies in the 2022 edition, the work required a significant investment of time and effort, especially in rendering the charts and figures into clear and accurate Japanese. Every sentence was translated with close attention to detail, striving for both precision and readability.
To further enhance the quality of the content, Professor Rui Takahashi kindly reviewed the entire manuscript, offering expert guidance and detailed feedback throughout the process. We are deeply grateful for his invaluable support.
The proceeds from this translation’s publication are donated annually to primary schools in poor rural areas of Vietnam. These donations are made through the ‘Thuy’s Dream’ fund which is currently managed by the AFA Hope Foundation.
We look forward to contributing to those interested in Vietnam and are happily imagining children going to school with smiles on their faces. This is our motivation for continuing our work.
