Message of Appreciation from the Chair to the Participants and Partners of the Vietnam–Japan Forum 2025
On behalf of the organizers, I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation to all distinguished guests, our speakers, participants (both in person and online), and partners who made the Vietnam–Japan Forum 2025 in Hanoi a great success.
The Forum brought together leaders from government, academia, business, and international organizations to explore new pathways for sustainable development and deeper cooperation between Vietnam and Japan.
We were honored to receive an inspiring video message from H.E. Pham Quang Hieu, Ambassador of Vietnam to Japan; a thoughtful opening remark from Mr. Yusuke Nakashima, Representative from the Embassy of Japan in Vietnam; a meaningful keynote speech from Mr. Ta Duc Minh, Commercial Counsellor at the Embassy of Vietnam in Japan; and other valuable keynote addresses.
We also deeply appreciate the participation of representatives from the Embassies of Indonesia and the Russian Federation, JBIC, CC1, the Ministry of Finance, Asia Center, and leading universities such as Hitotsubashi University, Tokai University, Chiba University of Commerce, HUST, VNU, Vietnam Academy of Agriculture, and Can Tho University, along with many research institutes, enterprises, and international partners.
This Forum reaffirmed the importance of connecting the four key pillars — government, education, business, and international partners — to build trust and promote sustainable growth. Cooperation between Vietnam and Japan is not only about the future but also a need of today. Both countries need each other more than ever to face challenges, to innovate, and to grow together.
As Vietnam and Japan enter a new stage of deeper and more comprehensive partnership, we believe that by working together, we can continue to build bridges toward a more peaceful, inclusive, and sustainable future.
We are also deeply honored and grateful for the strong attention and coverage from the Government of Vietnam and major national media outlets, who helped deliver the message of partnership and cooperation to a wider audience — including VTV Go (Vietnam Television – English Edition), Hanoi Television, Government News, The People’s Newspaper, Vietnam News Agency (TTXVN), Industry and Trade Newspaper, Voice of Vietnam (VOV1 and VOV2), Vietnam Economic Times, and Vietnam Investment Review.
I look forward to welcoming you again to next year’s Vietnam–Japan Forum in Hanoi.
